Description:
His parents are sustenance farmers bringing in an annual income of less than $200 a year rendering them unable to feed, educate and clothe their children.
Emwogu was brought to the Christian Children's Fund project by his father for help. When able to attend school, his favorite subject is math. He likes playing ball games and his health and school progress are good.
Recently Emwogu and his family have relocated to a refugee camp as a result of the LRA's violent campaign through Uganda.

Lohani Grisol is a cute little girl who lives in a poor rural community located in the western part of Honduras. She does not have any physical or mental disability, but is malnourished and asthmatic. She is currently enrolled in the early stimulation program where her weight and growth are being periodically monitored. For fun she likes to sing, dance, and play dolls, Lohani is an only child and lives with her parents. Both parents are illiterate. The father, Selvin, is a subsistence farmer who sows coffee for a living. The mother, Griselda, takes care of the household, but their low income of about $55.00 per month is barely enough to cover the family's most basic needs. They are borrowing the three three-room house in which they live, it has wood walls, zinc roof and cement floor. It lacks all the public services found in their zone. Christian Children's Fund will provide her with medical assistance whenever she may need it as well as support for her education.

Description:
Benigno Alexander, better known at home as Alexander, is a friendly, communicative, playful, mischievous, cheerful and helpful boy. He lives with his parents and brother in a humble four-room dwelling, where there is a kitchen and a latrine. They get water from a river and use candles for lighting, but do not have the minimum sanitary services in the house made of wooden walls, zinc roof, and wooden floors. Everything there is in regular conditions . The father supports the family working as a day laborer, with an income not higher than one hundred and fifty dollars a month, which is not enough to meet the basic family needs. The mother is a housewife. Alexander is attending pre-kindergarten. His favorite subject is drawing. He likes to play with a ball. He helps at home by doing some household chores. Alexander does not have any physical handicaps and his health condition is very good.

Ramprasad hails from a poor Roman Catholic tribal family. The father works as an agricultural laborer and earns a meagre as well as irregular income which is nowhere enough to meet the daily needs of life. His total annual income is approximately US $106. The mother is a simple housewife who does the household chores. Keen on educating this child, the poor parents finally appealed to this project for assistance.
Ramprasad is an active and smart boy. He is now attending school. His favorite subject is Hindi, the National language. He takes keen interest in his studies. He loves to play Kho-Kho, an INdian game with his friends. His health is normal. The white patches on his face are due to vitamin deficiency. Ramprasad has two brothers and two sisters.

Description:
Natnaree Boonyuen is studious pupil and can do well at school. Unfortunately, she may have no chance to continue her education in the higher level as a result of her family's poverty. She needs the assistance from the project that provides her with educational funds including such basic needs as food, clothing and medical care. Her parents are farmers by occupation but have no farmland of their own. They have to use their relative's land to cultivate rice on, have to share the crop with the landowner every year and have just a little rice left to sell. They also spend their free time after finishing farming working as wage earners and receive low daily wages. Their annual per capita income is below their region's average of US $290 and they can never make ends meet. Natnaree is the younger of their two children and is attending kindergarten class. She has one elder sister who is schooling. The four live together in a one-story house roughly built of wood and located in a remote village. Their religeon is Buddhism.
